Our Team

We are growing independent institution with a large extent activity in research, which focuses on economic development,
innovation, and governance. We provide support to the decision makers in both government and private sectors in the evidence-based decision by conducting academic and popular researches. We apply a holistic approach combining quantitative and qualitative methods in our researches. In addition to research, we provide support facilitation for the development of the local brand image, innovation, and the development of local government capacity. We promote collaboration and partnership with various agencies such as central government, private institutions, and other national and international organizations having an interest in the local development

Ainul Huda

Executive Director

He obtained his first degree at University of Indonesia and his master’s in economics in Vrije University of Netherland. 

 

He previously work for LPEM-FEB UI from 2005 – 2012 and joined the social assistance team at the National Team for Acceleration of Poverty Reduction (Tim Nasional Percepatan Penanggulangan Kemiskinan/TNP2K).

Carlos Mangunsong

Advisor

He obtained his bachelor in economics from the University of Indonesia and Masters in business economics from Monash University in Australia.

 

He leads the research team that conducts a variety of consulting, training, and survey activities. 

Philips J. Vermonte

Advisor

He obtained his Master of Arts degree in international studies from the University of Adelaide, Australia, and his Ph.D in Political Science at Northern Illinois University, Dekalb, USA.

 

He is is currently the Executive Director of Jakarta-based Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), and also a Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, at the Indonesian International Islamic University/Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII).

Teguh Yudo Wicaksono

Advisor

He obtained his master of economics from University of Sydney, Australia and Ph.D from University of Kentucky, USA.

 

He currently serves as the head of Mandiri Institute.

 

Previously, he worked as revenue policy advisor at Australia Indonesia Partnership for Economic Development (Prospera), also a researcher at Survey Meter (2015-2017), and also economist at CSIS (2003 – 2010).

Syafrudin

Survey Manager

He joined the company in 2018. He has involved in various socio-economic surveys since 1993, serving as an interviewer, supervisor, and field survey coordinator as well. Not only able to function as a connector between the fieldwork team and team leader/research principal, but Syafrudin is also able to assist the team/team leader in another survey technicalities such as facilitating questionnaire development. He served for the national team for accelerating poverty reduction (TNP2K) during 2013-2016. He holds bachelor certificate from Mataram University, in Lombok West Nusa Tenggara majoring in Livestock.
